Mary was born July 12, 1937 in Coleman City, TX, and passed away April 5, 2016 in Denton, TX.
She worked for many years in school district food services, and her favorite hobbies included fishing and reading.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, George Welton Hyett, and Travis Bell; parents, Vernon R. Hampton and Mary Lee Hampton Kelly; son, Weldon Dean Hyett; siblings, Charles Hampton, Randolph Hampton, Danny Hampton, LaVerne Bryant, and Carolyn Wilford Bryant.
Mary left to cherish her memory her children, Donna Bybee, Brenda Johnson, and Michael Hyett; grandchildren, Bryan Wallace, Brandon Bybee, Dillon Bybee, and Gary Dean Hyett; great-grandchildren, Austin Wallace and Kaley Wallace; sisters, Joan Sanders and Charlet Cooper; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:30am, and will be followed by Graveside Funeral Services at 10:30am, all at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
