Mary Nona Brown: Sister, Caregiver, Saint; She should not be remembered for her professional accomplishments, although they were many, but rather for the numerous ways in which she touched people’s lives. She was a wonderful daughter, who cared for her parents in their darkest hours, a loving sister, a mother to her nieces, and an invaluable friend. She embodied the Christian spirit of generosity and sacrifice. Her mark on the world is etched in the hearts of all she loved. We are richer for having known her, and the world is a better place for having had her. Jesus is proud of you! Thank you, Mary!
Mary is survived by her brother, Patrick Brown and his wife, Marscha Brown; nieces, Stephanie Brown, Kirsta Brown, and Rebecca Brown and other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2015 at Calvary Hill Mausoleum North Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated by Msgr. Alfredo Garcia at 12:00p.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
