Proceeded in death by her husband of 68 years, Eugene (Gene) F. Lewis, and her son Mark Steven Lewis. Survived by son Russell (wife Tammis); daughter Janet Lewis Wimberley (husband Gary); grandchildren Nicholas Lewis, Nathan Lewis; Garrett Wimberley, Cassie Wimberley Dooley; and four great grandchildren.
Carolyn attended Holy Trinity Elementary, Ursuline Academy and SMU. She was a lifelong member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She served as room mother and cafeteria helper at St. Monica School for many years.
A private Catholic burial will be held on a future date.
