Mary Virginia Vickery Crawford was born in Jackson, TN on July 15, 1925 and departed to a better place with great courage, dignity and love of her family on July 2, 2010. She lived most of her life in Memphis, TN before moving to Dallas in 2008 to be with her son and family. She had a unique zest and passion for life and never forgot the importance of family. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John F. Crawford, Sr. She is survived by her son, John F. Crawford and wife Betty; three grandchildren, Courtney Crawford Slater and husband Edward Slater, Kristin Crawford Weale; Elizabeth Crawford Bentrup and husband Alan Bentrup; and seven great grandchildren.
