May Katheryn Crawford was born April 20, 2917, in Mesquite, Texas, to parents James and Betty Hodges, and passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 in Forney, Texas. May graduated from Mesquite High School in 1936 and worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. She enjoyed sewing, babysitting, and taking care of her family. May enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, and eating at her favorite restaurant the Circle Grill. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Avil Crawford. She leaves to cherish her memories her only son Thomas Crawford, sister Marie Simmons, brother Bennett Hodges, many other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6-8pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home at 2pm on Tuesday, July 15, 2014.
