Mary Gloria Gonzales, 79, of Dallas, TX, passed away on May 19, 2020 in Dallas, TX.
Visitation was held at 7pm on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home at 3235 Lombardy Ln. Funeral services resumed at 1pm on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Burial followed at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Tx. Arrangements were handled by Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
Mary Gloria Gonzales was born in Seguin, TX to Hortencia G. Gonzales on July 14, 1940. She attended school in Dallas, Texas. She married Frank M. Gonzales Sr. on April 19, 1957 in Dallas, Texas. Her passion for cooking and helping others lead her to work in Hospitality for numerous years with hospitals and catholic senior citizen centers. Her hobbies included cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, playing bingo and going to casinos.
Mary Gloria Gonzales is preceded in death by her mother, Hortencia G. Gonzales; sister, Albina Reynosa, two sons, Arthur “2D” E. Gonzales and Frank “Boy” M. Gonzales Jr.
Mary Gloria Gonzales is survived by her husband, Frank M. Gonzales Sr.; two daughters, Severa Guzman (Juan) and Gloria A. Gonzales; brother, Isabel Chavez; sister, Esther “Buggs” Chavez (George); four grandsons, Frank B. Gonzales (Melissa), Jason Guzman, Sonny Cervantes, and Samuel Cervantes; one granddaughter, Sofia A. Cervantes; and one great-grandson, Ezra C. Gonzales; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers: Sonny Cervantes, Samuel M. Cervantes, George Chavez Jr., Albert L. Rivera, Pedro Martinez and Dezmond D. Sanders.

GG, thank you for the Legacy you left behind, being the nice Grma for everyone. We are all sadden you left without saying goodbye. Had we known we would of celebrated you like no other. GOD only knows why he took you so soon. For you are now in Paradise rejoicing with your sons. May you Rest In Peace, look upon us shower down abundant blessings to your family.
