

She was born in St. Louis, MO, but raised in Kansas City, KS to John and Mary Ziegelmeyer, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dr. Cornelius “Con” Helling, Jr.
She is survived by two sons and five grandchildren. Surviving sons are Christopher Jon Helling and his wife, Ann-Marie, of Austin with their children Audrey and Charlie; and Troy David Helling and his wife, Kirsten, of Dallas with their children Megan and her husband Max Crandall, Emily, and Christopher. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Suess, brother, John Ziegelmeyer, Jr., and extended family.
Molly was a graduate of Bishop Miege Catholic High School, as well as the University of Kansas. She married Con Helling in 1966 and they were married for 47 years until his passing in 2013. Following Con’s military service, Molly and Con settled in Dallas. Molly was active in many activities and groups including Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Northwood Woman’s Club, and Junior League of Dallas. For several years Molly focused her creativity in co-ownership of a local business called Maggie and Me.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 10:30 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Dr., Dallas TX 75248. Fr. Jovita Okoli presiding.
