Born and raised in Arlington, Texas. Mary Jo retired from Foley’s department stores after many years. Mary Jo was an active member of St. Philip Catholic Church in Dallas serving many years on the Altar Society among other volunteer activities.
Mary Jo is survived by her 4 children, Glenda Humphries, Ricky Humphries and his spouse Cindy, Stacy Winkler and her spouse John, and Kelli Chadbourne and her spouse Peter. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who she loved all dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 hears Richard Humphries, her parents John and Vera Dennehy and her 5 siblings.
Funeral Mass will be on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas, TX. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas after a small reception at St. Thomas Aquinas.
