Born in Blackwell Oklahoma, December 11,1932, she was raised in Liberal Kansas. She worked for Western Union in Kansas City, Missouri where she met her husband, James R. Moffitt. They raised their three children, Theodore, Barbara and James G. In Raytown Missouri. James transferred to New York City taking a home in New Jersey. After a few years, they settled in Dallas. TX, James’ hometown. Mary was a passionate artist who enjoyed painting, sketching and especially sculpting. She loved nature, animals and but most of all her family. She was very involved with her church and had many friends who loved her. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at St. Marks Presbyterian Church, Saturday, October 3 at 2:00.
