Mary Bernice Moffitt

Mary Bernice Moffitt was born January 29, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to William Henry Moffitt and Mamie Moffit; she was the youngest of 6 children. Mary passed away on December 21, 2020 in Mesquite, Texas. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and later went on to work in the real estate business as a secretary. Mary never married, and worked very diligently with her church youth group. Mary was passionate about the Christian Endeavor and worked for them her entire adult life. She never forgot birthday and would send all her nieces and nephews and their children “books” of Lifesavers every Christmas. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mamie Moffitt; brothers James Moffitt, Vernon Moffitt, and Harold Moffitt; and sister, Wanda Adair. Mary is survived by her sisters in law, Mary Moffitt, and Esther Moffitt; nieces, Barbara Richter, and Lou Ann Spencer; and nephews, Mark Adair and Doug Adair. She will be remembered by all her friends and family as kind, sweet and loving lady.
