Mary Ellen McDade Moore Ferraro

Mary Ellen was born to Albert Meyer McDade and Ellen Byler, December 20, 1932. She married William P. Stacy, January 1953 who passed away in June of 1953. Mary Ellen then married Richard G. Moore in May 1955. They lived in Ft. Worth, Texas for several years and then later relocated to Dallas, Texas. Mary Ellen and Richard had four boys together, Glenn, Greg, Kyle and Kerry Moore. Mary Ellen married Fred Ferraro October 1999.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stacy, spouse, Richard Moore, spouse, Fred Ferraro, spouse, and brother Ross McDade.

She is survived by son Glenn Moore and spouse, Susan; son Greg Moore and spouse Kim; son Kyle Moore and spouse Tracey; and son Kerry Moore. Grandchildren: Brandon Moore, Cameron Moore, Brittney Moore Lang, Danielle Moore Zamora, Greyson Moore, Kennedy Moore and Emersen Moore. Great Grandchildren: Alba Zamora, Kynsi Lang, Wells Moore, Seanna Moore, and Luci Zamora.

Mary Ellen loved her family and cherished any time she could spend with them, especially Christmas where she was always very generous with gifts to her children and grandchildren. She also loved to bowl and shared this love of bowling with her third husband Fred. At one point, Mary Ellen was one of the best female bowlers in Dallas. She loved to watch the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys whenever they were playing and then talking about it with her sons.

Mary Ellen always had a positive outlook towards everything and was always pleasant and fun to be with.

A funeral service for Mary Ellen will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
