Mary Ann Parrino, 92, passed away February 7, 2011, in Dallas. A Dallas resident from age 9, she was born Mary Ann Herron on July 13, 1918, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a beautician at the flagship Neiman Marcus store in downtown Dallas for 35 years. On July 25, 1949, she married her beloved husband Joe Parrino, longtime owner of the Dallas Shoe Shop, who passed away July 29, 2004. She is survived by daughters Vanessa Hoffman and Trudy Moss, grandchildren Mark Martinez and Olivia Valdez, and great-grandchildren Baylee, Sydnee, Joseph, Lillie-Ann, Claire and Rosa Bella Martinez. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm with a rosary at 6pm on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at noon on Friday, February 11,2011 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 6306 Kenwood Avenue, Dallas. Memorials may be made to the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Building Fund at the same address.
