Mary Sue Gomez, age 78, was called to her heavenly home on Sept. 18, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on May 29, 1943 in Monterrey, Mexico to Jacinto and Sara Robles. Mary Sue was raised in Greenville, Texas.
She married Frank Gomez in 1964 and the couple had four children. She was a machine operator at Cenveo where she worked for more than 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, painting, walking, going to her favorite fitness centers and spending time with her family.
Mary Sue was always so full of life. Her lively nature meant she filled her days with caring for her home and was always on the go. Though her fiery character may have intimidated some, this meant she had a passion for life. Her “go-getter” attitude will always inspire her children and grandchildren to do the best at what they do. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister and friend will be dearly missed. She leaves an unforgettable mark of love in the heart of family and friends she was blessed to have met on her journey.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gomez; parents, Jacinto and Sara Robles; brother, Jesse Robles; nephews, Daniel Lopez, Frankie Melendez Jr., Brothers-in-law, Chris Mayo, Oscar Marquez, and Benito Herrera.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary E. DeLeon and Kristine Ybarra (husband Porfirio), and Renee Gomez; Son, Roy Gomez (wife Toni); 13 grandchildren, Kristy, Andrew, P.J., Nicole, Drina, Jessica, Albert Jr., Michael, Frank, Amanda, Miranda, Lexi, Valentine; 15 great-grandchildren, Moses, Jesse Rene, Brianna, Jazlynn, Nevaeh, Alex, Jazmine, Albert III, Frank II, Joshua, Alexander, Teagan, Juan Leon, Dominic, Savannah; siblings, Mary Marquez, Lilia Hausheer (husband Mark), Reymunda Herrera, Carlos Robles (wife Katie), Gonzalo Robles (Debbie), Betty Henry, Joe Robles, and Eva Mayo; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
