Rose Baptist Church Education: DISD Public Schools Roosevelt High School - Class of 1974 Dallas Baptist University Cedar Valley Community College Mary was born to Frank Clark & Dorothy Choice on September 19, 1956. She was a wonderful child and very smart. Cookie was the “grown up” among her siblings while they were growing up. She attended DISD Public schools and excelled. She graduated in 1974 from F.D. Roosevelt with Honors and in the National Honor Society. Cookie loved the Lord and was reared in the church. She attended Mt. Rose and Zion Missionary Baptist Churches. She later joined New Birth Baptist Church with her husband and family, where she remained a faithful member until her passing. Along the journey of her life, she “collected” many people who she held dear to her heart. She leaves to cherish memories, her sunshine, her mom Dorothy A. Choice. Son: Keith Womack and daughter Angela Womack-Hayes (Timothy); her former husband, Wilson L. Womack; 2 granddaughters: Keiylah Demerson and Khennedy Womack-Edwards; 4 grandsons: Keith Demerson, Jordan Wright-Womack, Bryce “Turtle” Womack & Maseon “Baby Minion” Hayes; 6 sisters: Pamela Hayes, Carolyn Clark, Glorus Adams, Vicki Griggs (Bobby), Deborah Clark & LaToya Choice; 2 brothers: Charles L. Choice Jr. & Jermaine Clark (LaVette). 1 Sister, Betty Jones & 1 Brother, Charlie L. Choice Jr. preceded her in death. Sisters from another mother: Karen Holliness, Wyona Turner & Alice Hudson-Betts; Godmother: Helen Andrews; Godchildren: Tyre Thomas, Markeita Turner, Samuel Brown Jr., Ivan Brown & Simone Brown. She also had many DART “babies” but 2 in particular, Ola Allen (Zach) and Labern Lacey. Cookie loved her family and she leaves behind many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends that she loved and who loved her.
