A good, kind, loving man – Husband and Father who knew no strangers. A veteran of WWII. Born 10-16-18 in Dallas, Texas to Cecil and Morris Rubin. Maurice met and married his true love of 62 years, Helen Ligenberg. Together they had a zest for life and an unusually strong devotion to each other. Maurice leaves behind many broken hearts. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Ron Silver, son, Ronnie Rubin, grandson, Marc Frauman, and other family, and friends. The family wishes to express the utmost gratitude to caregivers, Rachel and Alex Kairie, Areen Steele, and Frida Mbemdo who never left Maurice’s side.
