Melba Jo Martin Russell born July 8, 1937 and passed away at her home in Waxahachie on Sunday February 12, 2017. She retired from Dallas ISD and loved to travel, entertaining and foremost being with her friends and family. Melba is survived by her husband Ray Russell, Sister Debbie Stevens (Hank), Son Tim Quisenberry (Tricia), Daughter Kelly Alberts (Gene), Charles Quisenberry, Grandchildren Jonie McCabe (Rusty), Brad Alberts, Shannon Bright (Travis), Great Grandchildren Katie McCabe, Taylor Bright, Hannah McCabe and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Hoyt and Elvie Martin, Sister Helen Oakley and Grandson Dustin Mulkey Quisenberry. The family would like to thank Family First Hospice, caregivers Janiece Barnes, Terrie Jordan, her sister Debbie and niece Glenna Eighmy, along with many family and friends, for the loving care during the last several months.
