Merle G. Coop was born August 12, 1913 in Boyd, TX and went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2012. She is survived by daughters, Betty Mendoza and Carolyn Shindoll and their spouses; step-son, Ronnie Coop and spouse; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild. Proceeded in death by spouse, James Coop; grandson, Greg Melton; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday August 19, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday August 20, 2012 at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
