Miguel Andres Martinez passed away on February 6, 2014 in Dallas. He was 54. He was born on September 8, 1959 to Bernardo and Maria Martinez. Miguel attended Sunset High School and went on to work in the Air Conditioning Business. He enjoyed working on cars and spent a little time as a mechanic. His family remembers him as having a good heart and always available to help other family members and those in need. He was a loving man with a teddy bear heart. He enjoyed hunting with brothers, cooking and for sports, his Dallas Cowboys. Some of his specialty dinners include enchiladas and tostadas. A man gone too soon, will be dearly missed. Miguel is survived by his mother; sister, Martha Davison; brothers, Steve Martinez, Bernardo Martinez Jr. and Sam Martinez; sisters-in-law, Maria Martinez and Pilar Martinez; aunts, Carmen Martinez and Teresa Martinez; cousin, Sister Carmen Teresa Lazo and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 10 am at Calvary Hill North Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
