Mildred Ann “Nan” Hays, 81, passed away Sunday, 20 September 2015 of Cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Jess Hays. Nan was born in Dallas, graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and attended SMU. Her working career was spent in the medical field. She was active in the Renewal Movement and Theological Education in the Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her children, Mary Johnson, Elaine Clayton, Bill Hays, Terrie Harris, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept 24 from 6 to 8pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home, and Funeral Services will be Friday, Sept 25 at 10am at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 1200 N. Shiloh Rd, Garland, TX 75042.
