

Mildred Rosenthal Krueger passed away on Wednesday August 6, 2014. She was born April 17, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the last surviving of eleven children. Mildred met her husband, Leo Krueger, in 1945 and they moved to Tucson, Arizona where they lived until Leo’s death in 1985. Leo founded Krueger Manufacturing Company and Mildred helped him grow his business by her many sacrifices for the husband she loved. Mildred moved to Dallas afterwards to help her daughter, Phyllis Glazer, raise her 3 children. Mildred established herself as a part of the Jewish Community Center’s Senior Choir entertaining with her beautiful soprano voice. She helped save her beloved Winona, Texas community by her generosity when they struggled with adverse health effects from a toxic waste disposal plant. With her help, it closed. Mildred is survived by her loving daughters, Phyllis Glazer and Sandee Samoska, grandsons and granddaughter-in-laws David and Debbie Glazer, and Steven and Denise Glazer; grandson Max Glazer; five great grandchildren: Benjamin, Jonathan, Allison, Leya and Harley Glazer; and great-nephew Dr. Jeffrey Massien who was like a son to her. The funeral service will be held at Temple Emanu-El, 8500 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Texas 75225 on Friday August 8th at 12:00 p.m. at Lefkowitz Chapel with interment to follow at Tiferet Israel Cemetery on Dolphin Road in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mildred’s honor to the J.C.C. Senior Choir or the charity of your choice.
