Mildred Louise Bobo Ladyman was born on March 8, 1925, and passed into eternity March 16, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leon; her brother, James, and sister-in-law, Winifred; her three children, Karen (& Larry Boswell), David (& Martha), and Sylvia (& Mark Coulson); 10 grandchildren — Lee, David (& Laura), Crystal, Katy (& Tim), Jennifer (& Cody), Derek, Evie, Will, Elijah and Jesse — and 7 great-grandchildren — Tim, Ben, Jeremiah, Grace, Peter, Andrew and Truett. Mildred had an eye for beauty that was unsurpassed. Her ability to capture nature’s wonders in photographs amazed and delighted all those around her. She was a true “Renaissance Woman,” skilled in business matters, loving to travel the world with Leon to see God’s creation and to support her family in their stage performances, and a talented pianist and singer, in addition to being a multiply-published hummingbird and nature photographer.
