Mildred “Millie” Olha (nee: Jungles) passed away peacefully from this life on December 30, 2017. Born September 26, 1933 in Homer Glen, Illinois. Millie grew up in Homer Glen, IL where she met her lifelong sweetheart and husband John. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage together, raising their three children on the family farm.
Millie was a devoted mother who enjoyed life and caring for her family. In their later years Millie and John cherished their twenty years of sun filled winters at their condo and on their boat in Marco Island, FL. The friendships they made during those years were so special to them.
Millie called Dallas, TX her home for the last three years. She enjoyed shopping and dining out in her new city while her health permitted, and basking in the warmth of the Dallas winters.
Millie is survived by two of her three children; Patti Van Cleave (Mark) and Jan Mancuso (Russ); daughter in law Donna Olha; six grandchildren; Zachary Olha (Cathy), Steven Olha (Kirstin), Molly Cunningham (John), Nina Rossi (Dugan), Tyler Shelton (Sarah), and Spencer Shelton; three adorable great grandchildren Charlie Cunningham, Walker Rossi, and Blake Michael Olha; sister Lois Bertelsen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband John S. Olha, son John Michael Olha, grandson Dominic Mancuso, brothers Merlyn Jungles and Charles Jungles, sister Irma Thomas; parents Robert and Myrl Jungles.
Millie will forever be remembered by those close to her for always enjoying a good laugh and the deep love she held for her family.

I'm so sorry for the loss of millie, I use to be her caregiver in sunrise and we wer close frnds despite the age difference. She would love to be outside and enjoy the sun rays on her skin in the summer, would always talk about her grandchildren how proud she was of them and patti always there for her every step of the way. My condolences to the family.! She will always hold a place in my heart.
