Minnie grew up in Dallas and at an early age began to study classical piano, practicing many hours a day. She carried her love of music, especially piano music, throughout her life. She worked more than 45 years for Grainger Industrial Supply, retiring at the age of 70. She enjoyed traveling and family gatherings.
Minnie came to faith in Christ in the mid-1990s after hearing the Gospel from the parent of a friend of one of her grandchildren. Minnie will be loved and missed by her family and friends, but we take comfort in 2 Corinthians 5:8b, “…to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.”
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Amparo Moctesuma; her brother, Jesse Lopez; and her grandson, Joshua Anthony Torres.
She is survived by her daughter Minerva Torres Tregaskis and her grandchildren Arthur Torres, Adam Tregaskis, and Lea Tregaskis Gonzalez; her daughter Linda Jensen, and her grandsons Michael Jensen and Jeremy Jenson, and great-grandson Isaac Jensen; her daughter Dena Allen and husband John (Mark) Allen, and her grandchildren Ashley Allen, Marcus Allen, and Cameron Allen; her daughter Frances Irene Gentry and her grandsons Jason Gentry and Justin Gentry; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
