OBITUARY

Mitchell Eric Morrow

September 27, 1961July 20, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Mitchell Eric Morrow announce his sudden passing at his home in Rowlett TX on Friday, July 20th, 2018 at the age of 56. Mitch will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of nearly 15 years, Nichole. Mitch will also be fondly remembered by his parents, Joyce and Ronald, his sister Maureen (Henry) Greenberg, his brothers Michael (Crystal) and Monte (Molly), his nieces Cara, Marissa, Jordan and Bailey, his nephews Monte and Noah as well as Nichole’s parents Diane and David Ocenasek, her sister Trina (Tom) Sherrill, nieces Samantha and Keeley and nephew Tommy.

Mitch was born September 27th, 1961 in Berea Ohio. He attended Miami University in Oxford Ohio where he joined the Miami University Glee Club to share and celebrate his gift of song. He enjoyed singing throughout his life and loved to sing karaoke. He also had a passion for golf, his father started him playing around the age of 5 at their course Columbia Hills. Along with his father and two brothers, they formed a fearsome foursome participating together in many tournaments. Mitch remained immensely competitive and earned first place in many events. He was able to mark off one of his highest Bucket List items the spring of 2017 when he visited and played where golf began in Scotland. One of his greatest accomplishments and point of pride was his career. He spent many hours contemplating the best strategies for success and his goal ever single year was to find a way to completely pay his salary in savings and profit he secured for the company.

There will be a service held at St. George Lutheran in Brighton MI Friday, August 24th, 2018 at 5 pm. There will also be a Celebration of Life held at Dunham Hills Golf Course in Hartland MI the following day on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please stop by during this time to share any memories you have and toast Mitch’s life.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Mitch's passing. I knew him through many years in the swimming pool industry. I played my best round of golf while playing with Mitch. He was a fine man and will be missed. May God wrap this family in His uncompromising Grace during this time of grief.

Mitch was an amazing person. He dated my sister, Sharon Sadecki Robins, for several years. There are several things that remind me of Mitch: 1) he no doubt saved my sister's life as he orchestrated an intervention that led to her recovery from anorexia, 2) when he worked for Cinderella he designed our in-ground "L-shaped" pool and gave us a substantial discount on the equipment and installation, and 3) my favorite saying he had was, "Nothing changes if nothings changes!" My condolences to his wife, Nichole and his family.

Mitch will be missed dearly. He was one of the most generous people i have ever met, alongside his wife, Nichole. I am so blessed to have gotten to know Mitch and will hold the memories of him closely.

My sympathies to Mitch's family and loved ones. I have a memory of Mitch coming to my birthday party (his back is to camera in the picture) in either kindergarten or first grade and giving me a baton! I remember it to this day! He was always genuine and sincere and I have nothing but the fondest memories of Mitch from my years in Olmsted Falls.
