Viewing will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday 12/30/18 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday 12/31/2018 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home with Deacon Gonzalo Gonzales of St Cecilia, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dignity Memorial.
Modesta , was born in Midland, TX to Luisa and Lusiano Neria on November 4, 1927. She worked for Susan Crane for 20 plus years until she retired.
Modesta is preceded in death by her parents Lusiano and Luisa Neria, 3 sons Raymond Gonzales, Paul Gonzales Sr. Luis Gonzales sister Margaret Gonzales and brother Alfredo Neria.
Modesta is survived by her sister Delfina Neria Mora, brother Vidal Neria, son Gerardo Gonzales and his wife Dolores Gonzales. Grandchildren, Yolanda Gonzales, Priscilla Gonzales, Mateo Gonzales, Gerardo Gonzales Jr., Sonia Gonzales, Paul Gonzales Jr. Tuddy Lopez, Rebecca Ortiz, Eric Gonzales and Erica Hernandez. Nieces: Anita Hidrogo, Delma Castillo, Yolanda Renteria, Rosa Arras, Anita Gonzales, Mary Helen Salgado and Irene Gonzales. Nephews: Henry Gonzales, Pablo Mora, Tony Gonzales, Mike Neria and Jesse Neria. Numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
