Mollie Jewel Woolfolk was born to the parentage of the late Rev. Berry Moore, Jr. and Mrs. Johnnie Mae Jones on April 4, 1926. Sister Mollie Jewel Woolfolk was the oldest of three children born to that union, along with Robert Moore and Ervin Moore. Mrs. Johnnie Mae was remarried and twenty-two years later came Bobbie Harkless. Mrs. Mollie joined the church at an early age at Bright and Morning Star Baptist Church in Ennis, Texas. Later, she moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, and she united with the St. John Baptist Church. After living in Wichita Falls, she then moved to San Diego, California, where she united with the Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Mollie was self-employed as a beautician for many years. After being away from Texas, Mrs. Mollie relocated back to Texas and met and married Mr. William Woolfolk. Mrs. Woolfolk, being back in Texas, joined the Greater Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Mollie loved her Church, Children and Cooking, and Mrs. Mollie loved to Travel. She would hit the highway by herself, driving with her little bird, “Billy”. She was welcomed with open arms in her eternal home by her parents; brother, Ervin Moore; and husband, William Woolfolk.
