

Mollyann Romick Menaker, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on December 21, 1928, Mollyann lived a life full of love, creativity, and joy. She was a force of nature, inspiring those around her with her energy and passion.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 65 years, Marvin Menaker, with whom she shared a deep love of travel, cultural events, political activism, civic activities, and entertaining. Together, they built a life rich in family and cherished moments.
Mollyann leaves behind her three children, Marta Puchalla (partner John Marcotte), sons Howard Menaker and Stuart Menaker (husband Kerry Mitchell), who will always remember her warmth, wisdom, and vibrant spirit. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to three grandchildren: Mason Menaker, Sasha Puchalla, and Ryan Puchalla. Her legacy is carried on by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Throughout her life, Mollyann enjoyed a successful career in interior design, where she applied her keen eye for beauty and detail. Her love for plants, collecting art, antiques, and frogs brought character and charm to her home and life. She also loved to play bridge, finding joy in the game and the friendships it fostered. Whether hosting gatherings or sharing stories, she created spaces and moments that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Mollyann’s life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 4:00p.m. in the chapel of Legacy Midtown Park, 8240 Manderville Lane, Dallas, TX 75231, with a reception to follow.
Family and friends are invited to come together in her honor, to share memories and celebrate the extraordinary life she lived.
Mollyann will be remembered for her love of family, her boundless creativity, and her enduring spirit. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
