Age 87, long time resident of Dallas passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2016. Born on October 14, 1928 in Mansfield, Texas to the parentage of Henry Cephus Rushing and Eloise (Gaddis) Rushing. She was a college graduate and a professional in the insurance industry until her retirement. Monty was a longtime member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. Monty’s favorite hobbies were bowling, playing bridge, and especially spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by George David McCraw and her husband, Jefferson Elmo Ward. She is survived by sons: David Sherwin McCraw, Frederick Neil McCraw, Dale Kent McCraw, and Paul Kirk McCraw and several grandchildren and a host of other relatives that will greatly missed “Monty”.
