Nathalie Vergel (Criswell)

Vergel, Nathalie (Criswell) – On May 2, 2015 Nathalie joined her Savior. Nathalie was a loving daughter, mother and sister. She is survived by two daughters; Elisa Aronica and Andrea Criswell; her mother, Hilda Vergel; three brothers, Nelson, Juan Carlos, and Cesar Vergel; and sister, Yelitza Elmi and twin sister, Jennifer Royall. Nathalie’s life took her on a journey through many countries and cultures. She was born in Venezuela, lived in Italy and eventually came to live in the United States in 2001, first living in Virginia and then moving to Dallas to be close to her sister, Jennifer and her family. Nathalie loved the Lord and lived a life fully devoted to God. She was an active participant in her church, Watermark Community Church. For the last three years she has lovingly led a divorce recovery group called Divorce Care where she has helped families heal from the emotional difficulties associated with divorce. When she first joined Watermark Community Church she joined a community group where she was whole-heartedly welcomed by a loving group of women. These God-filled women were a support and comfort to her. Despite the fact that her parents and siblings were spread across many continents, Nathalie was in constant contact with them all. The people in her life were well loved by her. She thoughtfully remembered birthdays and special occasions. She loved to dance and frequently did so. She was the life of the party and her vibrant presence will be missed. Nathalie’s life will be celebrated in a funeral service on May 6, 2015, 10 am at Watermark Community Church.
