

Nick followed in his father’s footsteps, Nick DeGeorge Sr., who was infamous for his pioneering work in the local culinary industry. Nick Sr created the downtown renowned ‘Town and Country’ known as Dallas’ most glamorous restaurant with the 8’ Pepper Mill.
Nick Jr. continued the family tradition with passion, dedication and innovation. He learned the trade from his father dedicating his career in owning and operating ‘Nick DeGeorge’s Steakhouse’ in Dallas, ‘Sweetwater Restaurant’ in Houston and an establishment in Tyler.
A lifelong Dallas resident, Nick cherished sharing memories and stories about the city’s vibrant history during the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s. He was known for his genuine and caring heart, putting others first and leaving a lasting impression on those around him
Nick is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his son, Tony Myers and wife Maryann; daughters, Dana Myers, Blaire DeGeorge, step-son Michael Mims; and his beloved grandchildren, Colton Myers, Brandon Zuppardo, Nickolas Williamson, Nicole Schneck, Evan Zuppardo, Ava Smith, John Woods, Paul Woods, great-granddaughters Khloe Mae and LeighAnna. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Nick DeGeorge Myers, III.
He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who were touched by his kindness and warmth.
