Olen Ray Pyles passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 in Mesquite, TX. Olen was born March 12, 1945 in Burneyville, OK. He attended East Texas State University where he obtained his Doctorate in Education Administration and Masters of Education and Bachelor of Arts in Education. Olen worked for the Richardson Independent School District for 30 plus years and was former principal of Liberty Junior High and Associate Principal of Lake Highlands High School. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners and White Rock Rotary Club. Olen really enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Pyles, son Todd Pyles, Daughter Susan and son-in-law Randy Dye. He also leaves behind grand-daughters Madeline Pyles, Elizabeth Dye and Emily Dye.
Services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Grove Hill Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. The visitation is from 12:00pm-1:45pm with funeral service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Frisco Education Foundation.
