What a lovely, warm, gregarious man! When he laughed, he laughed with everything he had and everybody laughed with him with that great smile that lit up the room. Not to mention he made the best chicken salad in the world. My thoughts are with Sandy!

It is with sadness we learn of Oliver’s passing. He seemed to always have a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. It was a treat to share Oliver’s warmth, hospitality, and really good food at his restaurant whenever we visited Dallas. While enjoying each other’s company, we would talk sports plus living in the Midwest. The surprise party celebrating our father’s 90th birthday was especially memorable, complete with a huge plater of Dad’s favorite asparagus, and a unique visit from a police officer. Fun time created by a special person! God bless Oliver, Sandy, and their family.

Oliver and Sandy were very special people in my father's life as they owned Oliver's restaurant. Dad and his lady friend Ruth would have lunch or dinner there many days each week. Oliver always treated dad as special and the 90th birthday party for dad that Oliver put together was something only Oliver could plan. We miss him

Sandy, we’re so sorry for your loss! I didn’t know Ollie very well but what I did know from the few times I was around him was how loved he was by his family and how much he loved them. I know his absence will leave a hole but hopefully the good memories and the love of your family and friends will help to fill that hole! Sandy, you are loved!! May God bless you and surround you with his embrace at this difficult time.
