

Oneal Davis, Jr. “Mace” was born September 08, 1928 to May Bell and Oneal Davis, Sr., in Nash, Texas. Oneal was the second oldest son of four boys. He received his formal education in Texarkana, Texas. Mace enlisted in the United State Army, serving his country for several years. Oneal met and married the love of his life Ms. Minnie Buster on December 08, 1956 and to this beautiful union two children were born, Randy and Jewell. He decided to move his family to Dallas, Texas for a new beginning. Oneal worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and children. He retired from Summers Electric but he continued to work as a Crossing Guard for Dallas School District. Mace had a love for barbequing for his family but he had a greater love for fishing.
On Thursday, February 01, 2018, Oneal Davis, Jr. was called from his labor to his reward. He was welcomed by his mother and father, May Bell and Oneal, Sr.; brothers, Nathaniel Davis and Willie Frank Davis and one granddaughter, Stephanie Davis.
To forever remember his Life and Legacy, his loving wife of sixty-one years, Minnie Davis; son, Randy Davis; daughter, Jewell Davis Humphrey; one granddaughter, Cojuana Davis; two great-granddaughters, Gabrielle Davis and Gianni Lister; one brother, Jesse Davis (Betty); goddaughters, Joselyn Dean and Marga McBay; four sister-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
