What a wonderful thing it is when a man leaves such a legacy for his family. Truly his children will rise up and call him blessed. As neighbors of the Buys, we saw this great influence on his children and grandchildren. We extend our deepest condolences to all the family.

Preston and I send our sincerest sympathy. Ed and Anne have been our next door neighbors for nearly 20 years and we couldn't have asked for better. My thoughts go to Ed out in the yard - always happy and always taking time to stop and say hello to us. Ed was a kind and gentle person who laughed a lot and Preston and I always enjoyed time spent with him. Anne has been a true soldier through Ed's illness, never seeming down, always postive - we admire her. It is obvious to us how much Ed meant to his children and how much they loved him. We will miss Ed.

Thinking of you all,

Becky and Preston

I worked with Ed a number of years at TI. He was a great friend and co-worker and obviously a devout Christian man. The Dallas community has lost a very good man but he has left as his legacy his children.
