On December 30, 1972, Pablo married Maria De Santiago. Their story was rooted in faith: Pablo was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary of Carmel, where he met Maria, proposed to her, and where they were married. Together they built a home grounded in devotion and enduring love.
Pablo dedicated 23 years to American National Insurance Company, beginning as a Sales Agent and later serving as a District Manager. His strong work ethic and consistent success made him a Leading Agent for many years, allowing him to travel the world through the company – experiences he valued and carried with gratitude throughout his life. He retired in 2005 and embraced a fulfilling retirement, spending cherished time with his family and traveling with his beloved wife.
In his personal life, Pablo found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures that made each day richer. He loved traveling—especially visiting different countries and taking cruises—and he took pride in his garden, where peppers and tomatoes were his favorites. A devoted baseball fan, he proudly cheered for the Dodgers, and he also enjoyed watching soccer. He valued staying informed, keeping up with the news and reading the newspaper. He also held a special fondness for his favorite grand-dog, Hershey.
A man of deep Catholic faith, Pablo drew strength from his devotion and faced his illness with courage, peace, and remarkable resilience—never one to complain, always meeting each day with quiet dignity. His kind heart, friendly manner, and joyful presence offered comfort and warmth to family, friends, and all who crossed his path.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother whose steady love and gentle spirit shaped the lives of all who knew him.
Pablo’s presence will remain with us, carried forever in our hearts.

Pablo is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maria De Santiago; his daughters, Victoria De Santiago and Patricia De Santiago; and his son, Pablo Alejandro De Santiago, along with his wife, Cindy, and their son, Pablo Francisco De Santiago. He is also survived by his brother, Francisco De Santiago, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Petra (Pérez) De Santiago; his sisters, Lolita, Felicitas, and Abelina; and his brother, Silvestre De Santiago.
Visitation will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75247 on Thursday September 24, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the Rosary from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at St Mary of Carmel Church, 2900 Vilbig Rd, Dallas, TX 75212, on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by Interment at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, US, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Followed by a celebration of life reception.
