

Pamela Ann Murphy was born in Dallas, Texas, on November 2, 1956 to George and Patricia Murphy. She passed away on September 16, 2015. She was a graduate of Lamar High School, class of 1974. She worked for the City of Arlington water department as a customer service advisor for many years. Pam loved hiking, bouldering, roller blading, entertaining her dog, Nyko, eating Mexican cuisine, and hanging out with friends and family, but her greatest passion was cheering her sons, Shawn and Kevin, on as they raced in motorcycle road racing events. She was an active member at The Church on Rush Creek in Arlington, Texas She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Murphy and sister Kimberly Ilene Murphy. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Shawn Randall and Kevin Randall; father, George Murphy; brother, Tim Murphy; niece, Shelby Murphy; nephew, Nick Murphy; aunts, Sharon Arnold and Maydelle Keith; and many beloved cousins. A visitation and time of fellowship will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at The Church on Rush Creek on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm, 2350 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, Texas 76017, followed by a graveside service and reception at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association or The American Breast Cancer Foundation. ?
