Pamela Schlesinger Potts

Pamela Schlesinger Potts, age 69, passed away on February 17, 2025 in Carrolton, Texas. She was born on April 21, 1955 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Dean and Mary Schlesinger. Pamela was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Kimball High School in 1973. She married David Bailey in 1973 and the couple had 1 child.

Pamela was a human resource director at M/A/R/C for 14 years. She then went on to work at Holy Trinity, where she worked for 8 years. Pam enjoyed many things. She loved crafting, spending time with family, spending time at the lake, shopping and many trips to Winstar with friends!

Pam will be remembered as fun loving and the easiest friend you will ever make. Her family will remember her crazy requests on her Christmas list and always being there for everyone, anytime, and for any situation! And she will always be remembered as a Gramster to her grandchildren.

Pamela is preceded in death by her father, Dean Schlesinger; mother, Mary Wooldridge; husband, Roy Hunter Potts; sister-in-law, Carol Schlesinger; and nice, Amanda Head.

She is survived by her son, Shawn Bailey and daughter-in-law, Cheriece; her favorite grandchildren, Dalton Bailey (wife, Brooke), and Courtney Bailey; brother, John Schlesinger; sister, Susan Head (husband, David); and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Pamela will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with committal to follow 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75228.
