

Patricia “Pat”, passed away on Christmas Day due to complications from interstitial lung disease. Thank you to the staff of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital and T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center to make her transition a peaceful one.
Pat was born to Roy and Goldie Seats on July 10, 1943, spending her early life in Centralia, Illinois. She graduated from high school in 1961 with top achievements being Everygirls General Chairman and Co-Editor of the Sphinx Annual. Pat continued her education at Centralia Junior College and Southern Illinois University, graduating in 1965.
On July 3, 1965, she married the love of her life, Don Bauer, who just graduated with his MBA from the University of Illinois. After a short stint her working in St. Louis, Uncle Sam came calling on Don, so she became a dutiful Army wife while he completed his Finance Officer tour of duty at Ft. Benning, Georgia. Son, Steven was born there at Martin Army hospital in 1967. Don’s subsequent employment moved this young family to Atlanta, Georgia for seven years. Son, Thomas was born in 1970 and the family moved on to Texas in 1975 for many joyful years.
Pat was a beautiful doting wife, mother and homemaker, but who was passionate for the fine art hobby of painting with oils, acrylics and watercolors.
Surviving Pat is her husband of almost 60 years, Don; her son Steven and wife Miriam of San Antonio; grandsons Michael, Alex, Matthew; granddaughter Isabelle; her son, Thomas and wife Amy of Plano; granddaughters Anna, Allison, Amanda; grandson Benjamin.
There will be no formal funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be conducted informally at a later date with family and friends.
