Patricia L. Budd

Patricia Louise Herzog Ellis Budd was born November 29th, 1931 in Hot Springs, Arkansas and passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Patsy grew up in Galveston where she attended Ball High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Othel and Gus Herzog and her first husband Paul R. Ellis Jr. M.D. in 1968. Her great love Clyde Burcham Budd Jr., died in 2002.

Patsy was a beautiful, wonderful, fun-loving lady, a fabulous cook, a great friend, and the best mother in the world. Patsy was mother to 8 children, and proud grandmother to 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. With her loving family present, Patsy spent the hours preceding her death listening to stories, laughing at jokes, and responding to all the love in the room. It was a perfect day.

Patsy is survived by her children, Dr. Paul R. Ellis III and his wife Trish, Tricia Ellis Duvall, John Richard Ellis, David Thomas Ellis and his wife Claire and her children Nasreen, Hamsa and Amaan, Donna Budd Williard and her husband Kellis, Diane Budd Lowrance and her husband Fred, Sally Budd Holkar, and Randall Budd. Grandchildren; Ryan Ellis, Kyle Ellis and his wife Allison, Becca Ellis, Sabrina Holkar Ellis, her husband Ari and their children Ahilya and Arjun, Yeshwant Holkar, and their father Richard Holkar, Barton Duvall, Reed Duvall and his wife Kelly and their son Harold, Trey Duvall and wife Julia, Drew Duvall and his wife Crystal and their son Wyatt, Ellie Ellis, Shane Ellis and their mother Jackie King Ellis, Amy Ellis, Abby Ellis, Kate Ellis and their mother Rosalind Bryan Ellis, Jack Williard, Evan Williard, Lane Williard, Hayden Lowrance, Brooke Lowrance, and Will Lowrance.

On March 7, 2015 Patsy’s family will hold a private burial. A public Memorial Service will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX 75225 with reception to follow.
