Patricia was born in Picher, OK on 10/8/1948 to Betty Lou Alexander and Melton Virgil Moody. She was currently a resident of Kemp, TX.
Patricia married the love of her life Travis “Ray” Cox on May 25,1970. She was a mother to Anita, Tammy, Chanda, Dewayne and Travis Jr. She raised her children with love and devotion in Lancaster, TX with her husband Ray.
As a Manager at Classified Parking Systems of 30+ years, Patricia was known for her dedication, loyalty and her ability to share her knowledge. She was known as “Ms. Pat”. She also established a business selling roasted corn that became popular around the metroplex. Patricia never turned down an opportunity to go to Louisiana to gamble. She loved to fill her time making arts and crafts. She crocheted, painted and fired ceramics, and her latest was making crosses from wood and stones. She loved butterflies and angel wings.
She is survived by her children Anita and husband Bobby Garvin of Ovilla, TX, Tammy and husband Brett Woods of Allen, TX, Chanda and husband Ricky Blizzard of Mt. Airy, MD, Dewayne Cox and wife April of Kemp, TX. Including 11 grandchildren Steven, Ashley, Jeff, Olivia, Elizabeth, Brittany, Kyle, Amber, Jessica, Jody, Jordan and 10 great grand kids.
Aside from the children, Patricia is survived by her sister Waynette and husband Albert Baze of Midland, TX and brother Donald Harris and wife Debra of Quinlan, TX, and her sister Karol Berner of Kansas.
She was preceded by death by her parents Betty Lou Harris, Melton Virgil Moody and Ray Dean Harris, husband Travis Ray cox, brother Ronald Harris, sister Starlette Jones as well as her twin sons Armando and Fernando Jr Barrientos.
