Patricia Ann Kemp (Hobgood), 79, of Dallas passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on September 5, 1937 to the late Joe Wheeler and Jewel Naomi Hill Hobgood. Mrs. Kemp was a member of the VFW as well as Trinity Baptist Church. She loved going to Sunday school and would always get to church early so she could visiting with other members. Patricia enjoyed reading and listening to audio books when she couldn’t see any longer. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Patricia is survived by her husband Bill Ray Kemp of Dallas, her son Bill Ray Kemp, Jr. of Dallas, daughter Cinta Critz of Dallas, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two sisters Benny Jumper and Doris Jean Smith and a brother Kim Hobgood. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a son Keith Kerney, two brothers Joe Hobgood and Thomas Hobgood and three sisters Genell Haley, Mozell Parr and Christene Toland. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
