I wish you were still here. I miss you and your calmness. I miss hearing about your family and seeing you smile. To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. That’s what I hold on to. You were the most decent, trustworthy, professional, patient, honest, selfless person I have ever met. Kristi and Family, Im sending my sincere condolences with an extreme heavy heart. 
Patrick was my team mate, mentor, facility admin but most fortunately my friend.  He uplifted me, saw my strengths, taught me anything I wanted to know about dialysis. He encouraged me to achieve my goals, and  decreed that my gifts and talent no matter how different were valued and appreciated. He lead our team with great knowledge, humility, compassion and integrity.  He was a person you could trust! Patrick didn’t just talk about being a good person, he showed it in his work with the team, and patients alike. He truly cared. His heart was good. A heart of GOLD to be exact.  He was a believer and he didn’t have to talk about it, he showed it! I remember when your son and daughter were born. He was so proud to show us their beautiful faces. He was an example of a great great person, in character and in action.  I will never ever forget him! He is now my daily reminder to be all that I can at work, and in life. A reminder to continue to live a life  with integrity, compassion and kindness.  Patrick you are my friend!  My heart is full of sadness but, I know without any doubt that he is an angel. I will continue to pray for your family.  It was truly a blessing to know him. Thank you to your family for sharing him with us.

I'm so sorry for your loss Kristie & the entire Samson family. I'm so thankful i got the chance to meet and know you Pat. The lesson my parents have taught me that has always stuck with me is "In life, it is easy to forget the things that people have done but you will never forget the way they've treated you". For this, I will forever remember Pat's kindness, humor, generosity, and gentle demeanor. You have a spot waiting for you in heaven Pat, rest in peace brother.

I was truly blessed to have met Patrick. He was an awesome instructor and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. His kind and sweet spirit set the tone and made anyone want to be in a better mood. He encouraged me to continue my educational journey and not to give up. I plan on doing just that. Pat was definitely one of the nicest guys I've ever met in my life and that is no exaggeration. He definitely was someone I looked up to when it came to attitude. When he enters a room, he would have that swag/aura that would turn people's head and people would be happy to see him because of the kind of guy is. It is unfortunate that he is gone too soon but, the impact he's made in my life was life changing in a way how I try to be as a person. Rest in peace brother.

My first impression of Patrick was, “ His parents raised him!” His smile spoke volumes. I am wondering who will come to my rescue now when I am presenting at Swiss and have audiovisual problems or forget my charger. He had indeed accomplished what we all long for- to leave the world better than it was when we came. We are shouting to Heaven l- PATRICK we are all better bc of the footprint you left in all of our lives. The world is better bc you wer here. Prayers for strength during this difficult time for his family. As it is often said, the Lord make no mistakes. If He allowed it to happen; it is for our good. It was an honor and blessing to work with Patrick.  I will always remember his compassion for others.  He had an unwavering gentle soul and was always willing to help.  Continued Prayers for your sweet family and know that Patrick was so loved.  May God be with you during time of great need.

I remember meeting Patrick for the very first time and thought immediately how everyone should be more like him. He made a very deep impression on me as a human being and I looked up to him. He made me want to be a better person, more compassionate, caring, loving. I had the honor of training Patrick to take over my position, and he did a wonderful job! I will always remember his beautiful soul in this lifetime. Our friendship developed over the months and we talked about everything in regards to life. I will always remember him as a loving husband and father. My condolences to his family ❤️

When Janny first approached me about the helping in skills lab, she exclaimed (and I say exclaimed and not asked because it was an exclamation!!) “Have you met a Patrick yet?!?!?! Oh, you’re going to love him!” I did not have the privilege of knowing Patrick for as long as many, but in the months that I have had the pleasure of working with him, I must say, what a profound impression he made on me. Having to try to put into words what meeting and knowing Patrick was like....he was simply put, such a sweet soul. I’ve learned a lot from Patrick these few months but most of all, I learned how to be a better teacher. I only wish I could have told him that. My deepest condolences to his family. 

Where do I even start.  I would love to thank his parents for raising such a wonderful, caring, and loving man.  We started off as work friends that blossomed into a friendship.  What started off with conversations about cars and bikes blossomed into marriage, kids, and Suv’s. We spent big bucks on going out to lunch every week eating all around Dallas and shared a love for Pho. Despite our different backgrounds you were a good friend and most of all a loving brother. I will cherish our conversations and most of all your life. You will greatly be missed. To Kristie, Abbie, Leon and the family thank you for sharing Patrick with us all. May you take some comfort in knowing that his smile, laughter and love have ment so much to all that had the pleasure of meeting him. Words cannot express my thoughts, but  I’ll try. Patrick was a giving, caring, supportive  teammate and friend. I had the privilege of knowing and working with him the past nine years. He came to centralized training and he changed the culture, I enjoyed bouncing ideas around with him, how could we as a team improve training. He was instrumental in making centralized training a very successful and positive program. The trainees looked up to him and he was so patient with them.
Patrick was a nurturer, he was an example of what a man with strong family values, kindness, caring, and solid morals looks like. My life will forever be changed because I had the privilege of knowing and working with him. May God keep Patricks lovely family in His loving arms and provide comfort.

I worked very close to Patrick when he was a charge nurse as well as a facility administrator. Patrick was kind, and willing to help anyone that he could. I am feeling the loss of a great teammate and leader. I send my prayers and love to the family. I know he loved you all very much. He was so proud of his loving family. Patty!!!! This is truly heartbreaking. I will always be grateful for you being a wonderful coworker, amazing man and an even greater friend. God bless you all...I will miss you SO MUCH AND I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!! My heart goes out to all the Samson Family, his love for his brothers, parents, children and Kristie was beyond. I will always remember when he left and came back from the Bachelor party when you met Kristie...BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY!! God bless you all and give you the strength and courage. 
Represent H-Town in heaven homie!!! My boy moved to Dallas and I told him, you better represent HTown homie...with no doubt he said and other strong words describing his love for our Houston!!
