Patsy Nevil Rembert

She moved to Dallas, Texas, to pursue a career in modeling. She married Clyde Wallace Rembert and lived in Highland Park for over 60 years. She was involved in Variety Club of Dallas which is a non-profit organization committed to empowering children with special needs. She was also known for voluntary work throughout the community. One of her favorites was working at the Thrift House and Meals on Wheels.

One of the greatest joys in her life was being surrounded by family and friends and especially her six grandsons. Her downhome warmth, concern for others and trusting nature won the love of all who knew her. She was funny and loved to laugh. She never missed the opportunity to dance and loved to entertain. Pat had a heart for animals and her loyal canine companion, Jake gave her much comfort. She was a loyal and kind friend who loved her lifelong friendships.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents R. B. and Alene Nevil, her husband Clyde Wallace Rembert and her sister Betty Sue Spurgin.

Pat is survived by her brother Rick Nevil and wife Nancy of Gunter, Texas; daughters Sharon Rembert and Rene Rembert of Dallas, Texas; sons Clyde Wallace Rembert and wife Kym of Dallas, Texas; Richard Nevil Rembert of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Clyde Rembert and wife Katie of McKinney, Texas; Zach Rembert and Alicia Kralik of McKinney, Texas; Andrew Rembert and wife Paige of Anna, Texas; Dr. Bradley Johnson and wife Katherine of Orlando, Florida; Hunter Johnson and Jessica Smith of Dallas, Texas; Matthew Smith of Dallas, Texas; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be July 23, 2022, at 11:00 am at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas, 75225. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hope for Children Foundation, 4925 Greenville Avenue, Ste. 200, Dallas, Texas, 75206 and/or Operation Kindness, 3201 Earhart Dr., Carrollton, Texas, 75006.

The family would like to thank Edgemere Senior Living Retirement Home for their excellent care in the last few months of her life.
