March 17, 1931 – March 4, 2018
Patsy Goodson Wylie was born on March 17, 1931 . . .
To William (Bill) Thomas Goodson and Nellie Pearl Fromm Goodson in Childress, TX. Patsy was the twin sister of Pansy Goodson Privitt Johnson of Plano who preceded her in death on December 24, 2014. Patsy's husband, Richard Alden Wylie of Dallas, preceded her in death in 2005. Patsy, one of seven children, she is survived only by her sister Lena Goodson Ford of California.
Naomi Goodson Gupton, Marion Goodson, Pansy Goodson Johnson, Mary Goodson Cox and Harold Goodson preceded Patsy in death.
Patsy lost one child shortly after birth during the mid-1950s. She had three marriages prior to her marriage with Richard. She is lovingly survived by her many nieces and nephews that will always cherish great memories of her wit and charm.
Patsy excelled at several occupations in her life that included ocean side rental property landlord in Oregon, switchboard operator at AT&T, switchboard operator at Dallas' top hotels - The Adolphus & The Fairmont Hotels, and office manager for Richard's limousine service.
Patsy was loved by most that met her. Her idealistic views on many topics were often comical and far-fetched. Nobody ever said that Patsy was boring. She played piano, painted/drew and wrote many short stories. She loved history and how it was related to her family. Patsy was adored by all that knew her and will be forever in our minds and hearts.
. . . and she passed away on March 4, 2018 in Richardson, Texas.
