Patty Janelle Copeland Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Patty Janelle Kelley Copeland entered the Kingdom of Heaven on December 11, 2014, joining her husband of 70 years Frank C. Copeland, sister Joyce L. Posey and her mother and daddy John and Jewel Hood Kelley. Patty was a Christian and she served her savior every day of her life. She devoted more than 70 years to teaching children in her churches: Calvary Baptist in Dallas, First Baptist in Desoto, First Baptist in Alvin, Bay Area First Baptist in League City, Westminster Academy in Clear Lake and First Baptist in Friendswood. She touched the lives of countless children. It was a calling she loved as much as she loved Jesus. In death, she is survived by her two daughters Carolyn Copeland Wahlstrom from Lakeway, Texas and her husband Jack Wahlstrom and Cathy Sue Copeland, also of Lakeway, Texas. One grand son, Marc Lynn Cox of Bastrop, Texas, his wife Tiffany Cox, and her great grandchildren Kaitlin Kiersten Cox and Keegan Cooper Cox. She is also survived by her brother in law, Wayne B. Posey of Desoto, Texas and her nephew David W. Posey and her great nephew Reed Posey. Much loved, greatly missed. From our hands to His.
