During my father’s last years when he was housebound, Paul would visit and bring creamed corn (Dad’s favorite) from Big Al’s. Later when Paul was too sick to visit, he’d call Dad at least once a week for a quick chat. Usually they’d talk about their mutual interests, the stock market and good restaurants. Dad always looked forward to talking with Paul. I hope they are chatting now.

Paul was a wonderful person whom I had the joy of reconnecting with not long ago after not seeing him for many years. He had a wonderful and kind spirit and he was a great encouragement to me. My condolences to his family and friends - and especially to his nonpareil friend Teo Nancarrow.

We have lost a kind and generous man. Paul was a joy to be around and I enjoyed our discussions about finances, food, paradiddles, and travel. Every time I saw him he would say hello and how are you in one of the 5-6 languages I didn't know, and I would just give him this confused look. I really enjoyed our workplace relationship and was fortunate to call him a friend.
Rest well my friend.

My beloved brother Paul was a champion and my best friend. A true soulmate! He was courageous, smart, fearless, thought big, loved to win, created a beautiful family, was a loving soul, very funny and was the glue that held everybody together. He had an opinion about everything and he was usually right. Only an older brother is always right. He said he would be sorely missed. That may be one of the greatest understatements in the history of our family. God speed to you my little brother and we will see you soon. Brother Bill

Switching schools (involuntarily) was never a concern when I knew Paul was waiting for me. My best friend and partner in crime.
