Paul Henry Busch, 55, passed away on February 24, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 22, 1958 the son of the late Henry and Maurine Busch. His parents met in Dallas when Henry was coming home from serving in Europe during World War II. They fell in love, married and moved to Waverly, Iowa. They lived in Iowa while Paul and his sister were growing up. Paul’s father farmed, was in the real estate business, and was a state legislator in Iowa. Paul served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1980. He was stationed in various places in the U.S. and in Germany. Paul also worked as an intern for Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley. Paul moved from Iowa to Dallas in the early 1980’s after his military service. He still has many friends and family in the Waverly/Waterloo, Iowa area. He has one sister, Beverly Manuel and her husband Tom Manuel, residing in Indianapolis, Indiana. They have 5 children Nicholas, Christina, Derek, Mariah and Lillie Joy all of whom survive. Paul loved to talk with both old friends and soon to be new friends. If he was there, soon there would be no strangers. Paul’s pride and joy was his 100th year anniversary Harley Davidson. He thought about getting it for years before the anniversary and got it as soon one could be delivered. He rode it whenever possible and took very good care of it. Paul will be missed by all who knew him.
