Paul Edward Junius, age 95, passed away on September 17th, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 5th, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to John Junius and Rose Schmitz. Paul was raised in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Saint Meinrad Archabbey in monastery, Indiana in 1965.
He married Vivian Ndidi Junius in 2010 and the couple had one child. He was a typesetter at Times Herald where he worked for more than 35 years.
In his spare time, Paul enjoyed serving God as an Usher at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He especially loved serving his family in numerous ways like, baking fresh loaves of bread every week and serving mankind through volunteer work in the ESL Refugee Outreaching program. He also was a Sunday greeter at St. Monica Catholic School and Church and served his county as an election-pools official. He also was in the Knights of Columbus. Paul also belonged in the Richland College "Silverduck" Exercise Class and a member of the Exxon-mobil Retiree Club.
His family and friends will always remember him as a devoted Catholic, true stateman, beloved husband, devoted and selfless father, loving uncle, dependable brother that had a very funny personality.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, John Junius and Rose Schmitz; first spouse, Evelyn Stanislaw-Junius; siblings, Dorothy Junius-Horn, Fr. Bernard "Bernie" Junius, Dan Junius, John Junius and Ron Junius.
Survived by: wife, Vivian Junius; only son, Kosi Junius; younger sibling, Rosemarie Junius-Dransoff (Chicago) and numerous nieces and nephews.
