Pauline Forster Wade was born on April 9, 1936, in Ennis, Texas, to the late Robert and Corine Forster. The youngest of three siblings, Pauline brought joy, light, and grace to all who knew her. On Friday, December 12, 2025, she peacefully entered eternal rest at the blessed age of 89 years, 8 months, and 3 days.
Pauline attended schools in Ennis, Texas completing a 10th grade education. On February 2, 1952, she married Lernard Wade, and their union was blessed with thirteen beautiful children.
Faith was a guiding force throughout Pauline’s life. She accepted the Lord at an early age, and in 1986 she rededicated her life to Christ, a moment that brought renewed purpose and spiritual grounding. She became a devoted member of Oak Cliff Christian Center under Pastor Sam E. Henson Sr., and later joined Light House Church of Dallas, Texas, under Pastor Darius Johnston. Her walk with God shaped her character, her decisions, and the way she loved her family.
Pauline's heart overflowed with love, kindness, and faith. Her home was always open—a place filled with warmth, laughter, and prayer. She shared her faith freely, touching countless lives with her compassion and authenticity. She gave selflessly and loved deeply, leaving no doubt about the genuineness of her spirit.
Her commitment to growth and service extended beyond her household. Pauline continued her education and became a Certified Nursing Assistant, dedicating herself to caring for others with the same compassion she offered her family. Whether at home or at work, she treated people with dignity, patience, and kindness. Caring was not just something she did — it was who she was. Her compassion, wisdom, and dedication earned her admiration from those she served and comforted. She became a source of strength for families during times of illness and loss, often offering words of truth and encouragement.
She often spoke joyfully of "going home" and never feared that transition. Above her bed hangs an image of Jesus carrying a women —a daily reminder of God's faithfulness throughout her life. Her unwavering belief in God's promises sustained her through every season. Pauline was a shining light for all that was true, pure, honest, and lovely, even when standing alone. Pauline Forster Wade will always be remembered for her Godly wisdom, unwavering faith, her boundless love, and her radiant spirit. Her light continues to shine through every life she touched.
