Pedro Edward Davila

Pedro (Pete) Edward Davila was born in San Antonio, TX on June 29, 1946, to Manuel and Rosa Davila. Pedro was married to Delores on December 28, 1967, they were married 43 years.

Pedro worked as a Feeder Driver for UPS for 43 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree as a Colored Guard and a Former Grand Knight. He enjoyed traveling with his beautiful wife, football, fishing, hunting, camping out, bowling and golf. Pedro was a loving and devoted husband and a hard worker and an amazing father to his children. Pedro and his beloved wife were Marriage Counselors and Foster Parents. Pedro loved to crack jokes and would just laugh when he knew he got you. Pedro was a strong and an amazing man. He will definitely be missed by many.

Pedro is preceded in death by his wife Delores (Dolly), his father Manuel Davila, mother Rosa Davila, stepmother Timoteia Davila, brothers Mando and Ernest Davila, sister Joann Davila, grandson John Paul Martinez, nephew Stephen Davila and niece Emily Merito.

Pedro is survived by his sons David Davila of Wisconsin, Robert Davila of Dallas, daughter and Son-in-Law Kelly & Kiwanis (Moe) Moorer of Ft. Worth, daughter Kristina Davila of Houston. Grandchildren Daniel, David, Raquel, and Jordan, Great grandchildren David Jr,. Diana and Bentley, brothers David Hernandez, of Dallas and Moses Davila of Dallas and sisters Lupe Hernandez of Dallas, Lisa Yeverino and Brother-in-Law Gerardo Yeverino of Carrollton, and Rosemary Davila of Duncanville, Sister-in-law Elena Davila, and nieces, Lisa Merito, Lynn Rodriguez, Samantha Davila, Marissa Rosales, Macy Rodriguez, Marissa Landeros and Marcella Rosales and nephews Mario Jr. and wife Gwen Rosales, Marcos and wife Cynthia Rosales, and Matthew Rosales and wife Michelle Rosales, Christopher Hernandez, Stephen Rosales, Manuel Rosales, and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pedro’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
